Birthdays All Around

I wear them almost everyday and they are usually by the stove.

Nope, but hopefully when I ask if I look good or ok....... you will be honest with me.  

I am honest. If I don't like it I don't say anything. If I like it, I say so.

Well if that's the case, you don't like much of what I wear then. Cause you rarely make a comment on how I look. Even when I ask you just mumble.  ........guess I should stop trying to look pretty and nice for you.  

There's no need to constantly comment on what someone wears or how they look. If you want someone that does that sort of thing, you married the wrong person.

I didn't mean it like that, just meant that it would be nice once in awhile. Maybe you think you married the wrong person with this remark. Sorry for trying to get a nice comment out of you on anything. Now I really feel like a piece of shit.  

Yeah you did. You throw digs or hints like that often. I'm not a brown nose. I have a hard time giving someone compliments more than once.

It wouldn't kill you to say something nice once in a while to me. It's not like you go anywhere with me. At least then I'd know you still care and I wouldn't feel like I ain't good enough to take out or go somewhere with. You won't even go to digby with me unless you want something. Not trying to be mean just stating a fact.

Well, I had a good birthday. It was quiet and I enjoyed that.

Can't believe the oldest boy just turned 20.
